Due to the large number of requests from people who’ve been involved in Pen and Tonic courses and projects, we’re proud to present Writing Exercises that Work, a comprehensive handbook of exercises and guidelines for using writing for health.
The book has developed from Pen and Tonic’s experience of working directly with health and community groups and those working within the health and community sectors. The exercises have been compiled from submissions from writing for health practitioners as well as Pen and Tonic’s own devised exercises.
All the writing examples attached to exercises have been written by participants attending Pen and Tonic courses and projects.
All proceeds from this book will be invested in the further development of community writing for health projects.
